Studio

A small bench. Long projects. Open Thursdays.

Six architects, one model-maker, one project manager, above a stationer’s on Tsimiski since 2014.

The practice

StudioArch was founded in 2014 by Eleni Pavlidou and Marko Stipić, who met on a hotel renovation in Plaka. Eleven years later the bench is still small on purpose: four to six commissions a year across residential, small hospitality, and adaptive reuse.

Our projects are recognisable for what they leave alone — an existing wall left rough, a window kept narrow, a stair tread sized to the original riser.

What we hold to

Four things we do not trade away

Drawn at 1:20

Joinery, reveals, transitions, treads — the scale at which buildings are actually made.

Twelve months of follow-up

We come back every six weeks for a year after the keys, and write it down.

The library is open

Three hundred and forty-six material trays. Thursday afternoons, 17:00–19:00.

Quiet over loud

We do not pitch, and we do not work to magazine deadlines.
