What a material does after three winters, not on the day it is specified.
Three years of plasters in a Pelion barn, 2 March 2026.
We specified a lime plaster at the Karavanas barn in 2020 against advice, and have gone back every six months since. The first winter it moved. The second it settled. The third it did nothing at all, which is what we were waiting for.
Two re-coats in three years, both on the north gable. Every sample is in tray 214 of the library if you want to see the difference between the coats.
